#38 BRUSH TOOLS

This week in Photoshop Tools we played a lot with the Brush Tools. These tools can really take advantage of a tablets abilities. I'm using a Wacom tablet. It's pressure sensitive, and emulates real life. One brush tool that I want to highlight is the Mixer Brush Tool. It samples the colors in the photo and layers. This tool can be used to create a painted effect, like the one you see in my example below.

Do you know what this stuff to the right is? I'm going to be learning about it in Design Studio: Publications (aka HTLM & CSS for designers) this spring. Should be a lot of fun. I'm also taking Photoshop and Illustrator Tools. I'm excited to build on my Illustrator skills and learn Photoshop, which I don't have much experience with.
